As a former high school counselor with experience helping over 200 students with the college process, I provide thorough, individual coaching for high school students looking for help with college admissions and applications from start to finish.

We focus on "getting in without burning out": I coach my students and parents through an organized, step-by-step college admissions process that creates calm and avoids overwhelm by being ahead of deadlines, using done-for-you systems to get organized, and having the 1:1 support of a professional, certified and seasoned counselor to talk through and process all of the thoughts and emotions that come with this. 

There are many pieces of the college process that your child will need to manage, and I provide 1:1 support for all of it, including:

- School research and building the college list

- High school course planning

- Developing a resume and activities list

- Handling letters of recommendation

- Writing the college essay and supplemental essays

- Completing all applications

- Managing the timeline and deadlines

- Prepping for potential interviews

- Fine-tuning the application to stand out from the crowd

- AND managing the overwhelm and stress of it all! 

To help you and your child stay organized and streamlined throughout the process, all of my students (and parents) get access to a college planner system that we use to keep track of deadlines, research schools, create to-do lists, keep an organized calendar, and communicate outside of sessions. 

All of my parents receive an emailed copy of our meeting notes after each session, so that you know exactly where your child is in the process, and exactly what they should be doing next.
